Episonic Feature-Specific Terms

Certain features of the Episonic platform are subject to additional terms beyond the Terms of Service. This page identifies those features and the terms that govern them.


1. Lauralai Conversations

Your interactions with Lauralai are governed by the AI Product Terms. This includes all AI-generated responses, suggestions, and content that Lauralai produces.

2. Transcription and Audio Processing

When you upload podcast audio or provide audio for processing through Episonic, the following additional terms apply:

2.1 Audio Data

Episonic processes your audio files through our Technology Partners to provide transcription, speaker identification, and audio analysis features.

2.2 Speaker Identification

Transcription features may identify and label different speakers in your audio. Episonic does not perform biometric identification. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents from individuals whose voices appear in your audio.

2.3 Transcription Accuracy

Automated transcription is not perfect. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting transcripts before publication or reliance.

3. Content Generation

When you use Episonic to generate content (show notes, social posts, etc.):

3.1 Governing Terms

All AI-generated content is subject to the AI Product Terms, including ownership provisions and accuracy disclaimers.

3.2 Your Review Obligation

Generated content is a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all generated content before publication.

4. Podcast Data and Insights

When you use features providing podcast data, analytics, or trend analysis:

4.1 Data Sources

Podcast data and insights are derived from publicly available sources, including RSS feeds and directories.

4.2 Accuracy

Podcast data is provided on an "as is" basis. Metrics are approximations and should not be treated as authoritative measurements.

5. Third-Party Analytics Integrations

When you connect third-party analytics services (such as OP3):

5.1 Authorization

By connecting a service, you authorize Episonic to access and retrieve data from that service on your behalf.

5.2 Third-Party Terms

Your use of third-party services remains subject to those services' own terms and privacy policies.

6. Guest Pass

When an account holder issues a Guest Pass:

6.1 Account Holder Responsibility

The account holder is responsible for the guest's compliance with all Terms and Policies.

6.2 Guest Privacy Settings

Privacy Settings for Guest Pass users (AI training and human review toggles) are controlled by the issuing account holder and default to OFF.

These Feature-Specific Terms are part of the Episonic Terms of Service. It should be read together with the AI Product Terms, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.
