Episonic Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you may and may not do on the Episonic platform. It applies to all users, all account tiers, and all content — whether created by you, generated by AI features, or uploaded by third parties through your account.
This AUP is part of the Episonic Terms of Service (the "Terms"). The AI Product Terms contain additional prohibited uses specific to AI features, which apply in addition to this AUP.
Violating this AUP may result in content removal, account suspension, or account termination at Episonic's discretion.
1. General Principle
Use Episonic to create, collaborate, and improve your podcast. Do not use it to harm, deceive, or exploit others.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, create, generate, store, or distribute content through the Episonic platform that:
2.1 Is Illegal
- Violates any applicable law or regulation.
- Facilitates, promotes, or instructs others in illegal activity.
2.2 Harms or Exploits Minors
- Depicts, promotes, or facilitates the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors.
- Is designed to groom, recruit, or exploit minors.
2.3 Promotes Violence or Threats
- Threatens, incites, glorifies, or promotes violence.
- Promotes or glorifies terrorism or violent extremism.
2.4 Is Hateful or Discriminatory
- Promotes hatred, harassment, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
2.5 Is Harassing or Abusive
- Targets, bullies, intimidates, or stalks any individual.
- Involves doxxing (publishing private information without consent).
2.6 Is Deceptive or Fraudulent
- Impersonates any person or entity.
- Contains deliberate misinformation or disinformation.
2.7 Infringes Intellectual Property
- Infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property right.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
3.1 Abuse the Platform
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the performance of the Service.
- Circumvent security features, access controls, or rate limits.
3.2 Misuse Accounts
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent enforcement or limits.
- Sell, transfer, or sublicense your account access.
6. Enforcement
Episonic may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, remove content, issue warnings, or suspend/terminate accounts for violations of this AUP.
7. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or conduct on the Episonic platform that you believe violates this AUP, please report it to: abuse@episonic.ai
